The Perfect Neutral Paint Palette
Paint color can be a difficult choice for a lot of people. It can even present a challenge for us at times - especially when a paint color needs to be used in multiple spaces with different functions and different amounts of natural light.
When someone is struggling to choose a paint color or when choosing a bold color is making them feel nervous, I recommend selecting a neutral, classic paint palette. Neutral colors on the walls keeps your room calm, and allows you to introduce other colors with other items hardware and accessories. And let's face it - a pair of throw pillows is much easier to change than your wall color.
Here's the perfect neutral color palette that I have used and LOVE!
Benjamin Moore Classic Grey - perfect for walls.
Benjamin Moore Simply White - love this color for trim.
Benjamin Moore Gray Huskie - great on cabinets, accents, or even painted furniture.
And just in case you're wondering, Benjamin Moore did NOT sponsor this post. I happen to like some of their paint colors. 😉
Here's why I love this combo so much...
Classic Gray on the walls, Gray Huskie on the cabinets and Simply White on the trim. The space looks clean, bright, and classic.
It pairs perfectly with multiple types of flooring, although wood and wood-look flooring is a favorite. Here's the color combo in a dining room:
Classic Gray on the walls and Simply White on the trim and wainscoting. It's the perfect base to use to build a gorgeous dining room off of, and these colors pair well with pretty much anything!
